We were eating with friends on my deck when all of the sudden my friend says "Oh my God! There is a bear in your yard"! I quickly turned around to look and I couldn't believe my eyes. There was a black bear walking around the out skirts of my yard and then around the fire pit. My kids and their friends were all in awwww and then scared. I quickly called 911 and reported the sighting and the police called me back to confirm that the bear was still in my yard or if it moved on. At that point I told them it looked as if it was heading towards North French from where I live on Campbell Blvd. It was very scary to actually see a black bear in my yard. We all will be talking about this for a while.
