PATSY SILVER SINGS VARIETY SHOW
Bringing Back Good-Old Entertainment to Buffalo
Starstruck Productions, in association with Three Brothers Productions, is set to debut the re-creation of the variety show. With host Patsy Silver and co-host Dottie Kenney, Buffalo’s finest singers, dancers, jugglers, magicians, comedy acts, belly dancers, Mr. Sponge Bob Square Pants and a myriad of talent, will take the stage, bringing back the Variety Show bigger than ever, live on stage at Mickey Rats!
Opening act for national bands such as The Beach Boys, Jefferson Starship, Styx, Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad, Billy Powell from the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd band and back-up vocals for the late Lou Rawls, Patsy Silver (nee Sperduti) has had a variety of “Xtreme” entertainment experiences. Recording her first album in Nashville, Tenn. at the age of 25, with the use of Eddie Arnold's band, she has had a regional #4 hit called, "Roll Call at Lou's" with co-singer and songwriter Robert L. Adams on RLA Coastal Records. Married to the infamous Joe Cristofanilli, former bassist and songwriter for Ratt, Patsy and Joe are the founders of Creation Performing Workshop. This workshop is designed for young talented people who are coached and given the opportunity to perform. Patsy and Joe can be seen performing with Buffalo’s Music Award winning band Silver Xtreme throughout the Western New York area.
Opening Night for the Patsy Silver Sings Variety Show will be at Mickey Rats on July 1st @ 8:00. Filmed before a live audience and edited for a pilot for television, Patsy and Dottie hope to bring back this good-old fashion style of entertainment with special guests including “Slick” Tom Tiberi, formerly of 97 rock, Richie Derwald’s Viva Niagara, singer/songwriters Melissa Lussier, Johnny Juarez, Nedra and WNY Bellydancers and the comedy of the Francis Bacon Experiment.
July 29th is the second premier show and it will bring another line up of talented people back to Mickey Rats. Tom McGill and the staff at Starstruck Productions are hoping to find a permanent home for the Variety Show, where it will be centrally located every other Wednesday night.
Patsy and Dottie are members of the Fox-Team, Michael J. Fox Foundation for the research of Parkinson’s disease and Dr. Susan Love’s Army of Women for the research of breast cancer, and will be donating proceeds from raffles and donations to support these causes.
Buffalo and Western New York entertainers are invited to contact Patsy if interested in being a part of the Variety Show at silversinger@roadrunner.com. See you at the America’s Fair!
