Originally diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in November 2007, and given a prognosis of 3-5 months to survive. On December 23 2008, was told the cancer had spread to the brain. The family unit consists of Dave and Lois who just celebrated 17 years of marriage together on October 5th, 2008 and two sons, Zachary 16, & Benjamin, 9.
