My husband and I are born western New Yorkers. He is active military so we had to move to Anchorage, Alaska. A few weeks ago we were driving to the commissary and this young moose walked in front of our truck. It was awesome to see it becuase we just moved here. We had to stop the truck so I snapped this picture with my phone. It was our first moose encounter!!!
