The Ride For Roswell 2009, presented by Wegmans, will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the University at Buffalo (North Campus) in Amherst, New York.
The Ride is one of Upstate New York's premier cycling fundraisers and is Western New York's largest one-day biking event. This is an annual cycling celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute and its core mission to understand, prevent and cure cancer.
The event raises critically needed funding for new research showing the greatest potential to discover cancer cures and save lives. Funds raised also provide quality-of-life programs for many of the over 26,000 cancer patients served by Roswell Park annually.
Join over 8,500 riders and supporters and select from eight different distances - open to any level of rider. Either choose a traditional route that starts from UB – North campus -- the 62.5, 44, 30, 20, 8 or 3-mile routes -- or join the Extra Mile Club Peloton: only 12-miles from Roswell Park to UB. If you can't ride that day or want to simply fundraise and join us at the picnic, become a virtual rider or volunteer.
