Support Autism Awareness, please!

My son was diagnosed with Asperger' syndrome in April 2008. Asperger's syndrome isa high functioning form of Autism. Kids with Asperger's have alot of social inadequacies and it can hamper their ability to make friends. These kids can be perceived as "strange" or "weird" and they are not. They want to have friends just like any other kids. Kids with developmental disabilities do not appear to have a disability so when they notice the child's quirks, they are often picked on. We teach our children to be accepting of people with disabilities but developmental disabilities are not always visible. Please spread Autism Awareness. With 1 in 150 children being diagnosed, you may already know a child with Autism. Teacher your children about Autism, and how these children want to have friends just like any child and its ok to be their friend.

Thank you!. I'd like to share that Autism is the 3rd most common developmental developmental disorder. Autism is not a psychological or mental disorder. Autism is a Bio-Neurological disorder that has behavioral outcomes. Teach acceptance please.
