I had heard a squirrel running around the walls in our apartment house. From what I have read online, I understand they go into houses in Jan to retreat from the cold, make nests and have their litter. I have a store room off my living room and he/she has decided to live there most of the time. Yesterday Sat, 7 Feb 2009, I had left the door open to that room, because I was doing some work in there. While I was sitting on the couch, taking a break, he wandered into the living room to eat some seeds my birds had dropped. He came into the living room 5 times until I decided to close the door. He is still back there and running through the inside of the walls.
