911 Sculptures

The photos I've attached are of my steel patriotic sculptures known as the Traditional American and Just an American. They weagh severial hundread pounds each. Each of them sport a flag, one a 911 stars and stripes and the other the flag of New York. Each of them light up and are painted silver so they stand out brightly in the warm nights. I display them in my front yard on most warm holidays weather permitting. Since rain and electric don't mix well. I discovered this hobby shortly after 911 and have building them since. They are made up of discarded bit of metal that have lost there fit, form or function. I come up with an idea for a sculpture then I lay out collected pieces that fit the idea and start to weld them together till they fit my concept. They can take months or years to construct they are all a labor of love. But for now they stand quietly awating a thaw so they can get a new coat of paint and a couple of new light bulbs in the spring. Thank you Floyd Kesss
