I was visiting my ill mom in Snyder area of Amherst for xmas and HONEY slipped out last night as I was packing the car to depart. It was after 9pm and I was calling for her (she is 13 years old and her vision and hearing are going) and someone called the police and they made me stop calling for her so she has been missing since Sunday night. She is my best friend. Black half Sharpei, half Shepherd (see image), resembles a small black lab, 44 pounds, around knee-high, wearing a blue collar with a rabies innoculation tag from Mexico NY Vet. Afraid of strangers, doesn't know the area. Healthy for her age. She is obviously very lost. If seen please call Amherst animal control. Even if you don't see her, please say a little prayer.
