Local Man Bags The Legend !

Ron Madison of Cherry Creek, NY in Chautauqua County shot this impressive whitetail buck last shotgun season. The rack had 16 points with an inside spread of almost 24 inches. It was submitted to the NYS Big Buck Club and qualified for the largest deer taken with the shotgun for the 2007 season in NYS scoring 162 1/8 Typical. and a gross score of 192 6/8.

Apparently anonymous can not read. If he could he would have read the little story that clearly states the deer was shot in 2007! And it is not a rifle! You should engage your brain before you spout off! Moron!

that sure does look like a rifle that is in the picture with the deer. as we all now rifles are only legal in alleghany county and catturaugus county. The article says hes in chattaqua county
