Lost Italian (miniture) Greyhound!

Lost Italian Greyhound! Med. condition!

I am desperately asking for your help. I am a proud owner of a retired rescued greyhound. I adopted him through a local greyhound rescue, GReAT (Greyhound Rescue Adoption Team). I help look for missing/lost greyhounds when the terrible need arises. A situation occurred this past Friday (10/3) with an Italian Greyhound (IGs are miniature greyhounds). The IG's name is Colby. Colby was walking with his dog sitter at the corner of Cleveland Ave. and Cleveburn Ave. in the Elmwood Village Friday, Oct 3 (7pm). Colby became scared when confronted by a stranger and broke free from his harness. Last spotting: Monday, Oct 6 (between 6-8 pm): Spotted at LANCASTER AND DELAWARE- near Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital walking towards ALLENTOWN on the sidewalk.

Colby and his humans just moved to Buffalo in July - we need to show them how much Buffalo people care about the people and animals in their community. Meredith and Chris are completely distraught. They're working very hard to get their baby home, but they can't do it alone!

People from all over the country are attempting to help find this pup via the internet, pet forums like www.greytalk.com, by making phone calls, e-mailing and faxing local businesses, and doing the ground work of passing flyers around. The more flyers - the more eyes will be looking for this pup. We need your help to get the word out and help bring this pup home before it's too late.

We have flyers, please contact Meredith or Chris for a flyer!

PLEASE, even if YOU don't personally live or work in the Buffalo area, please forward this e-mail with attached flyer onto everyone you know. This is a desperate situation and we're running out of time! If you'd like to help in the search, please contact Meredith or Chris. They have flyers they can give you!

Details:
Colby, Italian Greyhound
NEEDS HIS MEDICATION! IGs cannot survive in the cold!
4 years old, 16lbs, neutered. No identification on him since he got out of his harness.
If seen at all, please contact ASAP, anytime, day or night.

It would be awesome if WKBW would do a story about how the community comes together to help try to bring home a lost pet. Let's show the pride of Buffalo in all forms and issue and help bring this little boy home to his family.
