While sitting out in my back yard on the beach of lake Ontario, I noticed this cloud formation happening across the lake near Toronto. It got bigger and darker as it moved towards the south east. What kind of cloud (s) was that?

THE STUFF TOUCHING THE WATER FROM THE SKY IS RAIN. AND FROM THE LOOKS OF IT... IT WAS QUITE THE DOWNPOUR
