The Auburn Doubledays "Radio Dream Job" promotion took an interesting twist on Saturdday, July 26th as Ed Helinski, winner of the ebay contest, aided Doubledays broadcaster Jordan Bernfield and both wore Destroyer wrestling masks during the 4th, 5th & 6th innings during the local radio broadcast and milb.com going worldwide.

This was done in honor of Dick Beyor, the original Destroyer professional wrestler of Akron NY.

Helinski is a native and former resident of North Tonawanda.

It may have been a first in professional baseball history. Suffice to say, it cause quite a stir at Falcon Park.
