In the spirit of County Executive Chris Collins this past Spring Semester an accounting II class at ECC City campus did a research project on Six-sigma. The instructor was Adjunct Profesor of Business Mary Christ. ECC will have a student chapter of ASQ the certification society for Six-Sigma world-wide.Buffalo State College has also been contacted to start a chapter to help college students develop this important skill-set. Professor Christ is the Buffalo Section of ASQ Student Development Chair for 2008-09.
