On June 26,2008 aboard the USS Little Rock with the company of 51 other new citizens form 26 countries Patsy Kling was Naturalized.
The Honarable Richard J Arcara Presided, WKBW's Joanna Paceri was the guest speaker.
Both the Judge and Joanna spoke with pride of their own family heritage and how the US had become their family home.
I was born in Brantford Ontario and came to the US in June of 1987. My marriage to James A Kling was my first draw to the United States.
Living in Lewiston NY for the past 19 years I have enjoyed seeing my birth country everyday.
Becoming a Naturalized US citizen had always been on my mind but I never made the push to do it. After 21 years the time was right and as I stood in front of the Judge surrounded by 51 others representing 26 countries I could not have been more proud.
I look forward to my first oppurtunity to vote and on this July 4th I am proud to be a new american in Lewiston NY. thank you to my family for standing with me that day. Thank you to Joanna Pasceri was making it a memorable event.
