The Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School celebrated diversity with its annual international event, Taste of BASCS: Making Friends, Sharing Culture on Thursday, October 17th. This annual celebration recognizes all of the diversity amongst the students, staff and families of BASCS and allows everyone to fellowship with great company, food and music. Over 30 tasty foods and desserts were on hand from many different places around the world, including Bhutan, Italy, Mexico, Nepal, Poland, Russia, Somalia, The Philippines, Turkey and the United States. At Taste of BASCS, all students and faculty are encouraged to share the foods and cultures of the countries of their heritage.
