Looking for a special way to usher in the 2013 holiday season with the family? The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be rolling into nearby London, Ont., at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at the Richmond Street railway crossing between Oxford Street and Central Avenue.
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train begins its journey on Nov. 25 and will be visiting more than 150 communities. Each event features a boxcar stage, a lineup of great musical talent and a contribution to the local food bank. Everyone who attends is encouraged to donate food and money which stays in their community. Entertainers on the train include The Claytones and Willy Porter.
Since it's inception in 1999, the Holiday Train has raised more than $7.4 million and over three million pounds of food in the U.S. and Canada.
Please check the Holiday Train’s arrival time prior to attending the event as its schedule is subject to change, and plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the event start time to see the train pull into the station.
