Never been to London, Ontario? Budweiser Gardens is going to make it awfully hard to stay away in 2014!
The home of London Knights hockey and London Lightning basketball has some major shows lined up during the first two months of the new year, starting with Broadway in London’s “Stomp” at 8 p.m. Jan. 11. The return of the percussive hit brings some new surprises, with several sections of the show updated and restructured and the addition of two new full-scale routines utilizing some unique props. Come see what all the noise is about!
Next up, country star Keith Urban is bringing his “Fuse” tour to London for a 7 p.m. show on Jan. 23 with Little Big Town and special guest Brett Eldredge.
January concludes and February opens with “Disney on Ice: Passport to Adventure!” A great family show, your favorite characters will skate into town on Jan. 30 and delight crowds through Feb. 2.
Barenaked Ladies, celebrating their 25th anniversary, will hit the stage on Feb. 4 with special guest Ladies of the Canyon. The Barenaked Ladies live shows have become legendary with their hilarious on-stage banter and impromptu raps/songs. The fun begins at 7:30 p.m.
Broadway in London returns at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 with “Chicago: the Musical.” “Chicago” has everything that makes Broadway great: A universal tale of fame, fortune and all that jazz; one show-stopping song after another; and the most astonishing dancing you've ever seen.
Keeping with the Chicago theme, the legendary band Chicago comes to town for an 8 p.m. show on Feb. 27. Chicago is the first American band to chart Top 40 albums in five decades — a landmark accomplishment!
