Annunciation School in Elma continues to accept applications for its fun and educational Summer Camp, as well as the 2013-14 school year. Annunciation provides Pre-K3, Pre-K4, kindergarten and grades one through eight.
Summer Camp returns from June 24 through Aug. 9 and promises to be better than ever! The program runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily and offers weekly themes such as going green, Bible studies, spectacular outer space mission, author’s study and writer’s workshop, eat to live, math and technology mania, and fun in the sun.
In addition to weekly theme-based activities, students will be encouraged to take part in an Accelerated Reading Program that will emphasize reading comprehension, fluency, expression and vocabulary skills.
Annunciation School, home of the innovative and hands-on Center for Health Science, currently serves children from the Alden, Alexander, Attica, Cheektowaga, Depew, East Aurora, Holland, Iroquois, Lancaster, Orchard Park and West Seneca school districts. Busing is available within a 15-mile radius.
