Four representatives of Annunciation parish in Elma recently took part in the 61st annual Diocesan Youth Conference presented by the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. The event took place at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown Buffalo.
Approximately 750 Western New York teenagers took part in the event, which offered a mix of prayer, education and fun. Keynote speaker Cooper Ray, a youth ministry director from Baton Rouge, La., encouraged the participants to strive to become all that they can be.
The weekend also included group learning sessions dealing with topics such as anger, greed, hope, relationships and more.
Representing Annunciation parish, located at 7580 Clinton St., were Gracie Coughlin, Veronika Tibold, Will Conrad and Josh Hanley. Both Coughlin and Tibold are graduates of Annunciation School.
