Two book-signing events for “Most Likely to Survive,” a new book detailing West Seneca resident Matthew Faulkner’s miraculous recovery from traumatic brain injury, will be held in April.
Written by West Seneca native Joe Kirchmyer, the signing events will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Enjoy The Journey Art Gallery, 1168 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca, and from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Dog Ears Bookstore, 688 Abbott Road, Buffalo. Faulkner and Kirchmyer will take part in both events, which are open to the public.
An automobile accident on March 2, 2009, while Faulkner was a senior at West Seneca West Senior High School, left him in a deep coma for almost two months with almost no chance of survival. Against all odd, he would walk out of ECMC 103 days later and across the stage at high school graduation just two weeks after that. In May 2013, Faulkner will graduate on time from Canisius College.
