During a quiet afternoon in Tonawanda on June 16, 2008, the skies opened up with thunder, lightning and large hailstones. It is hard to accept hail when my granddaughter's swimming pool is ready to go!

The storm left many small dents in the hood and roof on my trusty car. I am just glad that it is not a new one!
