Need something special for your Easter table? Why not start a new tradition and visit the local vendors at the Winter Market at Horsefeathers, located at 346 Connecticut St. on Buffalo’s West Side? Market hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through May 4.
Entertaining guests this Saturday, March 30, will be violinist David Adamczyk beginning at 9:30 a.m. Also visiting the market this Saturday will be volunteers from the Garden of Stewardship community garden.
The market offers a wide variety of local food vendors selling everything from bread, spices, cheese, coffee, biscotti, cupcakes, cookies and eggs to vegetables, fruits, pasta, salsa, dumplings, meat and wine. Customers will also find homemade soaps, all-natural dog treats and much more.
The Frizlen Group Architects of Buffalo is spearheading the renovation project of the historic Horsefeathers Building. The award-winning firm is well-known for its green urban restoration projects and has previously completed several major renovation projects in Buffalo.
