Winter Market prepared for Easter rush

Vendors at the Winter Market at Horsefeathers, located at 346 Connecticut St. on Buffalo’s West Side, are geared up in anticipation of big crowds on the next two Saturdays leading up to Easter. Market hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through May 4.

Entertaining guests this Saturday, March 23, will be singer/guitarist Sara Elizabeth from 9:30 to 11 a.m., followed by Porcelain Train from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Also visiting the market this Saturday will be volunteers from Pet Connection Programs Inc., a unique Western New York maternity animal shelter. They will be selling their popular tote bags filled with food and treats for your furry friends, so please stop in and show your support of this outstanding nonprofit organization.

The market offers a wide variety of local food vendors selling everything from bread, spices, cheese, coffee, biscotti, cupcakes, cookies and eggs to vegetables, fruits, pasta, salsa, dumplings, meat and wine. Customers will also find homemade soaps, all-natural dog treats and more.

The Frizlen Group Architects of Buffalo is spearheading the renovation project of the historic Horsefeathers Building. The award-winning firm is well-known for its green urban restoration projects and has previously completed several major renovation projects in Buffalo.

Vendors interested in participating in the market can contact Diane at The Frizlen Group at 881-0046 or diane@frizlengroup.com for more information. You can also follow the Winter Market at Horsefeathers on Facebook at www.facebook.com/WinterMarketAtHorsefeathers for frequent updates.
