High school seniors from schools across western New York will be show casing their hand-made fashion designs on the runway. This year's event, Fusion, is presented by Erie 1 BOCES and The Walden Galleria Mall. The fashion show will take place from 5:30 - 8 p.m., Thursday, April 11 on the first floor of the mall near the Apple Store.
This is Erie 1 BOCES 4th Annual Fashion Show as created by the students in the Fashion Design and Merchandising program with help from various other Career and Technical programs. Set design has been constructed by high school students in the Building Trades program, Electrical program and Auto Custom Painting program. Hair and makeup will be crafted that evening by the Cosmetology program. The music played will be produced by Erie 1 BOCES Television and Sound Production program.
All 25 of Erie 1 BOCES Career and Technical programs will be present for a career expo experience. The first Fashion Show will begin at 6 p.m. and will repeat at 7 p.m.
There will be a raffle and prizes. The event is free to the public.
