Chautauqua County residents are facing an uphill battle in the effort to get a resolution for the repeal of the SAFE Act passed. Though there enough votes gathered at this time to bring about a vote at the meeting of the full legislature on Wednesday, February 27th at 6:30 pm, there are still not enough votes to get it passed. We can no longer afford to stand by and allow Albany and those down state to continue to dictate without proper representation. We need to act NOW! There will be a rally on Saturday, February 23rd at the Frewsburg Fire Department Blue Building, Frewsburg, NY, from 12 noon to 4 pm. Guest speakers include; Assemblyman Andrew Goodell, Steven Alstadt of SCOPENY, representatives of Senator Cathy Young and Congressman Tom Reed.
