Wainfleet, ON located 30 miles west of Buffalo gets hit by a foot and a half of snow.
This small lakeside township saw the white fluff blanket the community beginning at around 6 am on Friday, February 8, 2013 and continued throughout the day causing some local business to close early so that workers could get home safe.
Though weather reports predicted 3-7 inches of snow from the storm, named Nemo, Wainfleet, ON saw closer to 18 inches before the storm finally moved out during the night.
The snow has since formed a winter wonderland in this township of just over 6,000 residents.
