These petunias are descendants of petunias I've bred for nearly 20 years.The two light colored flowers are survivors from this past growing season.The purple/pink one has spent it's entire life growing indoors on a windowsill.It's only time spent outside was Dec.25,2012 to take this picture.Fun Fact:Petunias are grown as annuals,but they are actually perennial.They can tolerate below freezing temperatures,but Buffalos winters are to cold for to long for them to survive.
