Book-signing event, Puppy Tales slated

Dog Ears Bookstore, a nonprofit neighborhood bookstore located at 688 Abbott Road in South Buffalo, will host a book-signing event on Saturday, Dec. 22, and a new series of “Puppy Tales” story time sessions beginning on Friday, Jan. 4.

David H. Brown, author of “The Elusive Chauffeur,” will be at Dog Ears at 6 p.m. Dec. 22 to sign copies of his book, which follows a pair of detectives, mathematician Samuel Mohlar and Kenneth Gray, as they seek answers to an equation that just doesn't add up during their investigation of an apparent suicide. Their own lives, and the lives of those around them, eventually become endangered. Can they find the killer before the killer finds them? Join Mohlar and Gray in a race against the clock in “The Elusive Chauffeur.”
