If you’re looking for something unique to do as we say goodbye to 2012 and hello to 2013, you may want to look north of the border as London, Ontario, prepares for the entering of the New Year with two festive events!
On Dec. 31, Countdown London will take place in beautiful Victoria Park. This festive outdoor family event is an annual tradition and is filled with live entertainment and a grand fireworks display.
And from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 1, you can welcome 2013 with tradition and enjoy refreshments, music and a tour of historic Eldon House during their New Year’s Day Levee. Guests will be treated to musical entertainment in the elegant drawing room, and can exchange greetings and gather with friends for hot cider and treats in the Interpretive Centre.
