Winter Market lists first 12 vendors

The Winter Market at Horsefeathers, opening on Jan. 5 in the 115-year-old Horsefeathers Building located at 346 Connecticut St. on Buffalo’s West Side, has announced a partial list of vendors that will participate in the market. The market will continue through May 4, 2013, before giving way to the outdoor Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market 2013 season which will begin on May 11.

Among the local businesses committed to taking part in the Winter Market are Arden Farms, Avenue Boys Smokehouse, Cookie Confections, Dan Tower Farm, Everybotti Biscotti, Fetch Dog Treats, First Light Farm, Green Heron Growers, Martin Cooks Restaurant, The Pasta Peddler, press raw food & juice, and Saltamontes Salsa.

Some of these vendors will be permanent tenants in the Horsefeathers building, while others will participate in the Winter Market every week or every other week. The market will be held in the building’s renovated basement and first floor, and 24 loft-style apartments will fill the historic building’s top four floors.

Vendors interested in participating in the market can contact Diane at The Frizlen Group at 881-0046 or diane@frizlengroup.com for more information. You can also follow the Winter Market at Horsefeathers on Facebook for frequent updates.
