Annunciation volunteers off to Haiti

A special blessing was held during Mass last Friday at Annunciation Church in Elma for volunteers who headed to Haiti on Nov. 11 to work in a health clinic. The volunteers also transported 28 suitcases filled with donated medical supplies, toothbrushes, washcloths and bars of soap that were collected by parishioners and Annunciation School students.

Among the volunteers in Haiti are Annunciation parishioner Judy Rusnak, second from left, and Annunciation School science teacher Leslie Zielinski, third from left.
