SUNY Brockport's Kelvon Agee, a senior political science major from Niagara Falls, participated in an international model European Union (EuroSim) conference. EuroSim was hosted by the Universities of Trier and Saarbrucken in Germany, and concentrated on possible independence for the Kosovo region of Serbia. The four-day conference brought together students of varying levels of study (undergraduate through law school) from schools throughout the United States as well as Europe. Agee held one of the most prestigious individual roles, portraying the President of the European Commission, Juan Manuel Barroso. As president of the Commission he acted as an advisor to the European Council, which is composed of the the President or prime minister of each EU country. The role required Agee to give several speeches throughout the conference on his recommendations and conclusions based on events that occurred in all of the meetings. Agee is a 2004 graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
