Maybe we should stop placing blame and just let Angel Rest in peace and say a prayer for the people who loved her. Im sure no one intentionally wanted angel to die but things happen to dogs just like people and people need to stop blaming others

The puppy died from a reaction to medication - just like some humans do. vets are not perfect and neither are regular medical doctors.

I stated that I "assumed" that Angel didn't having anyone attending to her 24/7, which is common practice in many veterinarian hospitals. I commend the SPCA for the work they DID to help this poor baby. It was in God's hands, and he called Angel home

No one stated that the dog was left alone. Where do you see that stated on this notice or on the web page for the puppy?

YES WE ALL ARE HUMAN AND MISTAKES HAPPEN WE ALL UNDERSTAND THAT BUT THE REAL POINT THAT IS MADE IS STILL BEING DANCED AROUND AND THAT IS WHY WAS SHE LEFT AT THE SPCA ALONE AFTER SURGERY? WOULD YOU LEAVE YOUR FAMILY ALONE ? ANIMALS NEED CONSTANT CARE

She was NOT neglected. She was being checked out by a vet prior to this happening. Currently they are doing an autopsy and toxicology on why this happened. Did you know that Vets make mistakes as well? They are not Gods as you may think.

HOW VERY SAD IT IS THAT JUST COMMON SENSE TO DO THE RIGHT ACTS OF CARE FOR ANIMALS THAT ARE SICK OR HAD SURGERY AS WE WOULD FOR A CHILD /ADULT. BOTTOM LINE IS YOU DONT LEAVE THEM ALONE THEY NEED 24/7 A WEEK CARE .VOLUNTEERS AND VETS KNOW THIS

She was being checked out by a vet. There will be more information about this on the SPCA's web page to what happened. Unfortunately they do not know anything yet.

DO YOU THINK ANYONE IN THE NEWS DEPT WILL BRING THIS TO THE PUBLICS ATTENTION AND MAYBE AN INVESTIGATION INTO THIS NEGLECT SO THAT IT CAN NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN OR WILL IT BE IGNORED!! ANGEL DIDNT NEED TO DIE SHE SHOULDVE BEEN WITH A FOSTER FAMILY

I thought she was doing so well. I don't know the facts so I can only assume that there was no one attending to her throughout the night. THIS is the reason that shelters & veterinarians need someone there 24/7. Animals require 24 hour care too!

how in the world could something like this happen when she apparenlty had been checked out by the vet and her future looked good to have the next surgery done!!! Was she taken care of and monitored at someones home or left alone at the shelter hmm!
