Festa Italiana, “A Taste of Italy in Downtown London” and a fun annual celebration of Italian culture, food, music and dance, will take place from Aug. 24-26 in nearby London, Ontario.
A free event held at London’s beautiful Covent Garden Market, 130 King St., Festa Italiana boasts great entertainment, dancing, delicious Italian cuisine, a wine and beer patio, contests, fashion shows, children’s activities and much more.
Also this year, the event will include a free outdoor opera right at the front doors of Covent Garden Market Square, where the festival has taken place for the last 10 years. La Traviata will be performed by the Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26 – a glorious event for all those who plan to attend!
Each evening guests are invited to dance under the stars with Orchestra Italiana London, featuring live performances by many local and international artists. Visitors can enjoy traditional Italian pastries, dishes and drinks, and there will also be many contests and activities throughout the day and evening, pasta demos, musicians, magicians and much more.
