See details below, a special note about the city of good neighbors - the women leading the search Ann Baumler Christopher, does not know the Julicher family, she spotted the dog, and got involved, she is now spear heading the search team and has offered up her own reward money. This search is being tracked on Facebook and CraigsList.
This is a very sad story about a missing Great Dane “Gilly”
She is large, All Black, Female, 4 years old, and now very thin. Today is day 18 that she is missing.
She was being watched while her owners were on vacation, she got out of the grandparents gate in Williamsville, NY. On July 1st.
She has been spotted many places but is running scared and very frightened.
I had her in my backyard on the 2nd and that is when I and many saw her cross Greiner Rd.
Animal lovers came out in numbers for days but as time is goes by( 15 days) and Gilly is covering such a wide area, It’s been tough to get a search group big enough. We need eyes everywhere.
We need the help of viewers!
The owners and many total strangers have been looking for her. She is kind and gentle but is so afraid that she is just running.
The areas she has been confirmed as being spotted in are;
Williamsville (Sheridan, Hopkins), Clarence (Brookfield C.C., Harris Hill, Greiner, Strikler Rd), Akron (Buckwheat Rd.) Last sighting was Friday the 13th. The caller described her as injured and limping.
Anyone spotting her is asked to call the State Police or the owners; Brad and Lauren Julicher.

Brad and Lauren have 2 young children and they live in Boston Hills NY. They make the trip out this way every day to call her, leave article of clothing, food, water and also bring their other Great Dane “Charlie” to help.
Please contact the family for better in depth information. I do not personally know them. I’m just trying to help them anyway I can!!!!
