Seven students from Mary Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School in Cheektowaga earned medals at the 2012 Southtowns Invitational Track Association Msgr. Holbel Division League Championship track meet held May 21 at St. Francis High School.
Among the medal winner from MQA were: Alexis Alvira, 11 and under dash; Darnell Dallas, 8 and under dash; Thatheona Padilla, 9 and under dash and 10 and under relay; Madison Zdzinski, 9 and under softball throw; Kaitlyn Riley, 10 and under relay; McKenzi Alvira, 10 and under relay; and Courtney Ando, 10 and under relay.
Other school participating in the event were Ambrose Catholic, Aurora Waldorf School, Fourteen Holy Helpers, St. Mary of the Lake, St. Joseph, St. Augustine Scholars and St. Aloysius.
