MQA School hosts artists and families

Hundreds of guests visited Mary Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School in Cheektowaga on April 22 for the opening reception of the 22nd annual Diocesan Art Exhibition. The show featured artwork created by students from 25 Western New York Catholic elementary schools.

Participating schools included: Our Lady of Victory, Nativity of Our Lord, St. Joseph (Gowanda), Queen of Heaven, Annunciation, Immaculate Conception, DeSales, Sts. Peter and Paul, Our Lady of Black Rock, Nativity of Mary, Catholic Academy, Northern Chautauqua Catholic and St. Gregory the Great. Also, Our Lady of Pompeii, St. Benedict, St. John the Baptist (Alden), St. John the Baptist (Kenmore), St. Joseph (Batavia), Mary Queen of Angels, St. Joseph University, St. Mary’s (Lancaster), St. Peter’s, St. Mary’s (Swormville), Christ the King and St. Francis of Assisi.
