A summer workshop for children entering Pre-K4 through Grade 7 will take place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 25 through Aug. 3, at Annunciation School, 7580 Clinton St., Elma.
The program will include literature activities and summer reading, hands-on math and science activities, reading comprehension and phonics (primary grades), arts and crafts, and much more. The program and activities will be theme based. Many fun activities will take place daily, and the school’s up-to-date technology will be utilized. The summer program will also be a great prep for New York State tests in math and ELA.
The cost of the program is $140 per week per child, with discounts offered for two or more children. There is also a per diem rate of $35 per day; per diem participants must give one-week notice.
A $25 registration fee per child must accompany a registration form to ensure that your child can attend the summer workshop. The registration fee will then be deducted off your first week’s payment. Registration applications can be found on the school’s website at www.annunciationschoolelma.com and payment must be returned to the school office by June 11. Children will need to bring a snack and lunch each day.
Annunciation’s annual Kinderkamp program, for children entering kindergarten in September, will take place June 11-15. More information will be announced shortly.
