St. Benedict School had a busy and fun day today which included Silly Stringing the Principal and celebrating National "Pi" Day. During the school's morning gathering, students were entertained as Principal Molly Halady paid off a recent debt. Any child who raised over $100 to benefit the American Heart Association during a recent school fundraiser had the pleasure of silly stringing the Principal. Fifth grader Nora and PreK4 Caitlin had the honor and didn't hold back. Later in the day in celebration of National "Pi" Day, students had a chance to test their math skills. Any student in the middle school who answered their given problem correctly got to throw a whipped cream pie at Physical Ed teacher Mr. Kunkel, MS Math teacher Miss Owczarzak, or MS Science teacher Mr. Rushboldt. It was Great Fun for all!! St. Benedict School is located at 3980 Main Street, Amherst, New York. To reach the school call 835-2518 or e-mail www.StBenSchool.org
