The month of April kicks off with Advanced Colored Pencil Classes with local artist Cindi O’Mara.

Several art education classes, creative exhibits and fun events are planned during the month of April at Enjoy The Journey Art Gallery in West Seneca. The gallery is located at 1168 Orchard Park Road.

The month kicks off with Advanced Colored Pencil Classes with local artist Cindi O’Mara. Classes will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 and 10. Registration is required by March 31, and there is a fee is $38. O’Mara will hold Beginner Colored Pencil Classes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 and 24. The cost for the beginner classes is also $38, and registrations are due by April 2.

The popular monthly “Wine, Women & Art” event, a girls’ night out with artist Andrea Oswald, will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 12. The cost is just $20 and includes all supplies! Participants will make a piece of art to take home at the end of the evening.

“Found Treasures, Photography and Poems,” a photography exhibit featuring the work of Jil St. Ledger-Roty, will be on display at the gallery from Wednesday, April 11, through Saturday, May 5. An opening reception, free and open to the public, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 13.

“Spring Fling with Crystal X-TAL,” an evening highlighting jewelry and accessories, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 27. Stop in and see some one-of-a-kind collections, from African beads and sea glass creations to funky scarves. Refreshments will be served.
