Located at 5225 Sheridan Dr. (Georgetown Square) will be selling LiNtil (Lentil) soup every day for the next couple of weeks for the Lenten season in honor of Knicks star Jeremy Lin. Shaquille O’Neal has announced the renamed Lentil soup as LiNtil for the rest of the NBA Season. When asked at an interview Shaq commented, “I’m very excited to rename The Original SoupMan’s Lentil Soup “LINtil Soup” for the remainder of the NBA season to honor Jeremy Lin’s recent achievements for the NY Knicks and to celebrate his being a part of my team in Friday’s upcoming NBA Rising Stars Challenge.”
Al Yeganeh, the renowned soup maker who inspired the “Soup Episode” on Seinfeld, has a long-standing tradition of feeding the hungry and homeless. Since the creation of AFTHF in 2005, the foundation has donated over $60,000 to local hunger charities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Founded in 2006, Justin Pod, a Williamsville resident set up in the Georgetown Plaza. Justin Pod a student then at Buffalo State College, had done research on the Original Soupman for a class assignment.
