Club W at 199 Delaware Avenue is hosting a benefit for wounded American warriors from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2008. The event, part of the “Wounded Warriors” and “Care Package” programs, will offer raffles, a silent auction, live music with “Tommy Z”, and food and beverages for just a $15 donation.
Honored guests will include Pentagon Deputy Director of Public Affairs Col. David Lapan, USMC, and Col. Carol Timmons, USAF Commanding Officer 166th DANG, as well as many other area service men and women.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the “Wounded Warriors” and “Care Package” programs. The organizations’ mission is to provide support to the forward deployed U.S. Military Units and Combat Support Hospitals worldwide
