The faculty members at Erie 1 BOCES Potter Career & Technical Center have selected Stephen Olson, a senior from JFK High School, as their featured student of the month for February. Stephen is currently enrolled in the Building Trades program under the instruction of Mr. Grieco and Mr. Toth.
Stephen was selected by the staff and administration from the BOCES career center because of his exceptional attendance. He also demonstrates a high level of attention to detail when working on a modular house project as well as any shop projects he completes. Stephen decided to join the program after attending a tour of the Potter Career & Technical Center his sophomore year. After graduation he plans to attend college, possibly utilizing an articulation agreement with Alfred State College.
