When the Pond hockey tourney got cancelled due to no Ice at marina they changed it to street hockey at erie basin marina parking lot. Nick got six 40 yr olds together and the rest is History. 5 Straight wins no losses and we were champions of the 40 and over division. We wore old Sabres Slug pullovers until we won the semi finals when we and our opponent for the finals were given Labbats Jerseys blue and white. When it was over we won 13-9. Trophys and Beer and of course the jerseys were the Prizes for first, cant beat that. Pictured are The Duke (ME), Nick Izzo, Rick Izzo, Jim Zablonki, Mark Berta and Larry Kilton.
