Mary Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School, providing a quality education for students in Pre-K, UPK, kindergarten and Grades 1-8, will hold its annual open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at the school, located at 170 Rosewood Terrace (off George Urban Boulevard), Cheektowaga. The event is open to the public.
Highlighting the open house event will be private tours of the school, which will provide guests an opportunity to visit the science lab, computer lab, music and art rooms, see SMART Board demonstrations, student projects and much more. Refreshments will be served. Guests will also have an opportunity to meet students, teachers and the school’s principal, MaryAlice Bagwell.
Mary Queen of Angels, a regional school attracting students from Cheektowaga, Sloan, Buffalo, Depew, Amherst, Williamsville and West Seneca, boasts a family atmosphere and a caring faculty. The school offers an affordable after-school program; hot breakfast and lunch programs; Spanish language lessons beginning in kindergarten; numerous sports teams, clubs and extracurricular activities; and a strong and supportive Home School Association.
The Mary Queen of Angels Pre-K is a full-day program for 3 and 4 year olds with a three-day or five-day option. Universal Pre-K, for 4 year olds, is offered mornings and/or afternoons, Monday through Friday.
Mary Queen of Angels is proud to have recently received the prestigious Certificate of Accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools. To earn accreditation, the school demonstrated that it is effectively advancing the quality of education experiences it offers its students, meets its responsibilities to the public and the profession of education, and complies with standards for accreditation that are established by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
