Leonardo da Vinci Students Recognized at School Board Meeting

Students at Leonardo da Vinci High School received recognition at tonight's Board Meeting. The students were second and third place winners in a national public service announcement contest held by www.loveisrespect.org- a website devoted to raising awareness of teen dating abuse. Second place winners Amy Crettaci, John Sciortino and Ashley Tedesco (shown first with their parents) received a $400.00 Apple gift card. Third place winners Jessica Bury, Ashley Tedesco and Christine Mitri (pictured with Christine's father) and Adrian Guadalupe, Isabel Ortiz-Garrett and Allen Reid (not present) won a $150.00 Apple gift card from www.loveisrespect.org
BPS Superintendent Dr. James Williams and board members presented each student with a certificate, a book mark and a Borders gift card.
