Exciting theatre news is coming out of nearby London, Ontario, where Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” is being held over through Jan. 7 at the beautiful Grand Theatre.
“The excitement continues! How wonderful to see the range of audiences delighting in the magic of Cinderella. We are delighted to give theatre-goers the opportunity to experience the joy of this story,” said Susan Ferley, artistic director of The Grand Theatre.
“A holdover is such an exciting announcement. We are thrilled with the response to Cinderella and so happy to offer extra performances for families to enjoy during the first week of January,” added Deb Harvey, executive director of The Grand.
Due to its overwhelming success, seven additional performances have been scheduled: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3; 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4; 1 and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5; 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6; and 1 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7.
