Isabelle Lange is a 5th grader with Olmsted School 56 in Buffalo, NY. She is a good example of what it means to be healthy, both in the way she approaches her diet and her success as a junior athlete with the Buffalo Swimkins, a local synchronized swimming team. She is also engaged in cross country with her school. Isabelle believes a healthy diet is very important to keeping herself on track with schoolwork as well as maintaining a healthy body and mind. She enjoys all sorts of foods such as oranges, apples, and even spinach! She and her sister Anna are both athletes on the synchronized swimming team and have competed in the Independent Health Kids Run in Delaware Park the last 2 years where Isabelle placed 25th overall out of 300 runners! Finally, in 2011, Isabelle made the training camp for the National Team in Synchronized Swimming in her age group!
