Twenty-two athletes, including several from the Buffalo Bills 1964-65 AFL Championship team, will be signing autographs at Sports Collectors Expo 22, presented by Five Star Promotions and The Sports Corner. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, in the Clarion Hotel, 8250 Park Road, Batavia.
Scheduled to appear from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday are Stew Barber, Al Bemiller, Jim Dunaway, Booker Edgerson, Charley Ferguson, Ernie Warlick and Ed Rutkowski. Appearing from noon to 1 p.m. are George “Butch” Byrd, Paul Costa, Tom Keating, Ron McDole and Mike Stratton. Scheduled from 1 to 2:30 p.m. are Marv Levy, Joe DeLamielleure and Shane Conlan, while former Buffalo Braves great Ernie DiGregorio will appear from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Former Buffalo Sabre Ric Seiling will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, followed by NFL greats Greg Pruitt and Howard Twilley from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Former Buffalo Bills Cornelius Bennett and Leonard Smith will sign autographs from 12:30 to 2 p.m., and Scott Norwood will wrap things up from 1 to 3 p.m.
Admission is just $5 daily, with children 12 and under admitted free. Paid admission entitles guests to one free autograph from DiGregorio on Saturday, or one free autograph from either Seiling or Norwood on Sunday.
Numerous card and memorabilia dealers will be on hand during the two-day event, and other surprises are currently in the works. Mail orders will also be accepted for autographs.
